Making progress in my sleep...

...no literally. I've been asleep for approximately three days at this point (I'm pretty sure either my body has been possessed by tiny sleep-inducing demons, or I have some sort of flu-epstein Barr, mono hybrid). However, despite this putting a bit of a dent in my waking progress on the bikes. Not only did my sticky guide (for the Lambretta) arrive par Royal Mail, but my carb rebuild kits for the cb750k came in as well.

Since there's nothing quite like new bike parts to get a girl out of bed, I figure I might as well mosey on down to the shop to ogle the new goodies, and pick out a final piece of birthday goodness for my best friend/evel kneival's birthday this Friday. The hard part now will be to stick to the one bike at a time plan now that I've got sticky in hand. However, rumor has it, courtesy of my Honda guru Tom, that the 750 is actually not that far away from a running state (not café racer running state, but running nonetheless). Oh, also, sold the bad boy, which was sad, but, at least it frees up some capital to get things rolling on the bikes. I have to say, $100 for the cb750k is kind of making me feel like I committed highway robbery. Happens to the best of us I suppose...and I guess when you trade in your cow for magic beans, some goodness is bound to come out of it.

Peace
